About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Scope, prioritize, and execute qualitative research using varied methodologies for monetization product areas
  • Identify and articulate gaps in understanding that may impact products
  • Collaborate with researchers across Pinterest
  • Build relationships with senior cross-functional partners across Marketing, Product, Design, and other functions
  • Communicate and share research findings with product teams, cross-functional teams, leaders, and other audiences
  • Present insights in compelling, actionable, and engaging ways
  • Inform and guide monetization product decisions and strategy beyond immediate teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years experience scoping, designing and conducting end-to-end product research
  • Experience working as part of cross-functional product teams, ideally in ad tech, B2B, or enterprise SaaS
  • Ability to own and execute end-to-end research and use insights to shape strategy and influence decision-making
  • Ability to identify key research areas and questions
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of modern AI tooling, including LLM-based workflows, prompt/prototype tools, and evaluation/QA methods
  • Hands-on experience planning and conducting user research for AI-powered products or features
  • Broad toolbox of qualitative research methods
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and group facilitation skills
  • Experience recruiting and conducting research with businesses or on B2B products is a plus
  • Ads background preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • No relocation assistance
