About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the lifecycle of products across direct-to-consumer, eCommerce, and retail channels
  • Use consumer, shopper, and market data to develop assortment, pricing, shelving, and promotional strategies
  • Manage category performance and product lifecycles from new product development through discontinuation
  • Analyze assortment, competitors, consumer insights, and sales trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Drive new product launches in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Creative
  • Maintain accurate product data and category hierarchies
  • Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and promotional opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing on email, promotions, SEM, SEO, and on-site search content
  • Use category reviews and broker partnerships to support retail growth
  • Forecast performance and present actionable recommendations
  • Conduct advanced Excel analysis, including duplication and transferability assessments
  • Work effectively across multiple systems and platforms
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of category management, merchandising, or retail analytics experience, preferably within CPG, health and wellness, or eCommerce
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Vlookups, data analysis, and reporting
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, executive-ready presentations
  • Extensive experience using syndicated data platforms, such as Circana/IRI or NielsenIQ, to evaluate category trends, consumer behavior, and competitive performance
  • Strong retail and analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into actionable business recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to share insights across teams and with senior leadership
  • Must successfully clear drug screening processes for illegal substances per Federal Guidelines
  • Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace regulated by the FDA and follow Federal Guidelines
