About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as account expert and point of contact for large State & Local Government clients
  • Prepare and submit accurate invoices in a timely manner
  • Manage portal billing activities and client-specific portal requirements
  • Perform account maintenance and data cleansing
  • Review purchase orders and contracts, apply and reconcile payments, and manage fleet data
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal business units and stakeholders
  • Achieve established performance standards, KPIs, and productivity metrics
  • Prioritize daily workload to meet service-level exceptions and deadlines
  • Collect past-due accounts within the State & Local Government portfolio
  • Support automation, digital acceleration, and self-serve growth initiatives
  • Serve as subject matter expert for contract review and client onboarding
  • Act as primary escalation point for client issues and provide ad hoc support to the Government team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years client service experience
  • Prior account management, contract management, and/or billing reconciliation and collections a plus
  • Proven time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent professional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and schedule daily activities while functioning in a team environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Credit review included in background screening
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday within 8:00 am–5:30 pm EST or 7:00 am–4:30 pm CST
  • Appropriate work-from-home setting for a client-facing environment
