Create subtitle files through conforming, translating, or proofreading/QC'ing, using Pixelogic and/or client proprietary cloud-based subtitling software
Use the in-house glossary tool and follow client style guides for consistency
Handle rejections and make corrections in files
Stay current with industry trends and adapt to evolving client requirements
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive content
Collaborate with the language services department to support end-to-end client projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native or near-native English proficiency
Advanced or native proficiency in Turkish
Minimum of 2 years of professional Turkish-to-English subtitling translation and/or proofreading/QC experience
Professional experience with film, television, streaming, or other audiovisual content
Excellent English writing skills, with strong attention to accuracy, grammar, punctuation, tone, and natural phrasing
Ability to accurately understand and translate Urdu-language audiovisual content into natural English subtitles
Ability to follow client-specific style guides and technical specifications
Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and accommodate short turnaround times
Ability to work with cloud-based subtitling tools and platforms
