About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct contemporary and young contemporary wholesale sales
  • Participate in product knowledge seminars with designers
  • Travel to trade shows and throughout the assigned territory
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Develop strategies to maintain and increase business
  • Build strategies to expand sales through the assigned territory
  • Assist brands and clients with inventory and sales
  • Service accounts through travel and road work in the territory
  • Participate in major trade shows and markets throughout the Southeast
  • Work in tandem with a supportive and innovative team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years wholesale sales experience, preferably in apparel or accessories
  • Sound knowledge of current industry and market trends
  • Keen analytical skills; Excel proficiency a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • MUST live in the metro Atlanta area; no remote candidates will be considered
  • Excellent people skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and curate professional industry-driven relationships
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure, fast-paced industry
  • Established relationships with women's apparel retailers in the southeastern US
  • Proven ability to proactively engage and mentor junior/sales/showroom associates
  • Exceptional communication skills and sales-driven focus
