About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for customer-facing AI agents and workflows
- Identify high-potential customer problems and translate trades workflows into agentic product opportunities
- Define and own the customer interface for interacting with and managing agents and workflows
- Work with Engineering and UX across discovery, evaluation, and delivery
- Establish an AI product operating loop covering discovery, evaluation, release gates, monitoring, and iteration
- Define evaluation sets, quality standards, and release criteria, including accuracy, correction rates, latency, and rollback conditions
- Instrument and monitor AI product performance using customer behaviour and quality signals
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in efficiency, profitability, quote acceptance, capacity utilisation, activation, and retention
- Contribute to technical and platform trade-offs involving customer value, quality, cost, and time to market
- Manage dependencies, reusable AI experience patterns, mobile and voice input, and workflow handovers
- Partner with RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success on adoption, willingness-to-pay signals, pricing, and monetisation experiments
- Conduct customer discovery with tradespeople and learn from real-world product usage
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of product management experience
- At least 2 years owning and shipping AI products in production end-to-end
- Strong applied GenAI literacy across LLMs, agents, RAG, and evaluation frameworks
- Experience building 0-to-1 AI products or new product areas from discovery through launch and iteration
- Experience defining AI product quality and success criteria, evaluation metrics, release thresholds, customer outcomes, and post-launch monitoring
- Strong customer discovery and product judgment
- Experience in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment
- Proven cross-functional ownership with Engineering and UX
- English at C1 level
- German at C2 level
- Willingness to conduct field discovery with tradespeople
- Willingness to be regularly present in Hamburg, approximately one week per month or equivalent
- Experience with voice, mobile, or document AI is advantageous
- Experience with AI monetisation is advantageous
- Background in B2B SaaS for SMBs, field service, construction, or trades is advantageous
- Familiarity with PostHog, Sentry, Dovetail, or ProductFruits is advantageous
- Additional Italian, Spanish, Dutch, or Polish language skills are advantageous
- Must already possess the legal right to work in the EU or the specific country where the role is located
- Visa or work permit sponsorship is not provided
