About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work directly with one of Planet A's Partners on sourcing exceptional founders
Identify promising founders, spinouts and research teams through LinkedIn, GitHub, scientific papers, patents, university labs and relevant communities
Develop and run sourcing playbooks using AI and automation
Screen inbound deal flow and flag promising opportunities to the investment team
Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, interactions and relationships
Work with the Data / Engineering team to turn successful sourcing approaches into repeatable tools and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Highly analytical; form clear views from data, evidence and first principles
Actively use AI tools and agents and experiment with new approaches
Develop an AI-native, automation-focused approach to work
Builder's mindset; take ownership and work independently
Ambitious and persistent; pursue promising leads and follow up
Technically minded
Background in engineering, computer science or natural sciences is a strong plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in English
Additional languages are a plus
