About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead modernization, automation, and scalability of the global revenue engine
  • Lead design and configuration of automated revenue subledgers
  • Modernize end-to-end Quote-to-Cash workflows to eliminate manual journal entries, spreadsheet risks, and shorten month-end close cycles
  • Integrate revenue data across ERP systems, subledgers, and data warehouses
  • Automate ASC 606 footnote disclosures and key financial metrics with automated reconciliations
  • Partner with Product, Sales Ops, and Pricing teams to evaluate system impacts and revenue rules for new products and monetization models
  • Serve as primary liaison for internal and external auditors on revenue systems, process changes, and automation workflows
  • Design, document, and test SOX application controls and risk matrices
  • Ensure automated system rules, data flows, and manual overrides comply with ASC 606
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and train finance teams on updated system workflows
  • Report to the Global Revenue Accounting Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of revenue accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Information Systems, or comparable
  • Excellent understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 principles in complex SaaS, recurring revenue, multi-element, or usage-based business models
  • Hands-on experience with SOX 404 compliance, internal control frameworks, and audit walk-throughs for automated IT application controls
  • Direct experience implementing, configuring, or managing enterprise ERPs and revenue subledgers/engines, including NetSuite ARM and Salesforce
  • Proficiency with enterprise data warehouses and BI/visualization tools
  • Solid database query/SQL skills highly valued
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams, managing project risk, and delivering complex system implementations on schedule
  • Ability to align incentives across Sales Ops, Legal, IT, Product, FP&A, and External Auditors
  • Ability to explain complex technical accounting requirements to engineering teams and technical data concepts to accounting leadership
  • Ability to navigate a dynamic, high-growth environment
  • Agile approach to problem solving
