About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee operational performance, leadership development, and service delivery across PPM health centers in North/Central Maryland
  • Report directly to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations
  • Directly supervise, coach, and mentor Health Center Managers
  • Ensure clinics deliver patient-centered care while achieving operational, financial, and access goals
  • Monitor patient access, provider productivity, visit volume, and operational workflows
  • Partner with Health Center Managers to eliminate barriers and optimize clinic flow
  • Hire, onboard, manage, and develop Health Center Managers
  • Conduct performance reviews and support succession planning
  • Foster team sharing, learning, morale, and accountability
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, budget variances, and monthly financial reports
  • Support revenue cycle performance, documentation integrity, and billing compliance
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Title X, Medicaid/Medicare, PPFA accreditation, and clinical quality standards
  • Analyze patient satisfaction data and guide service recovery processes
  • Support organizational growth and service expansion initiatives
  • Represent PPM in community partnerships and professional healthcare forums
  • Travel regularly between PPM health center locations throughout North/Central Maryland
  • Work on an 80% on-site and 20% remote cadence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field required
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations
  • Minimum of three (3) years directly supervising healthcare leaders or multi-site ambulatory/clinic operations
  • Deep understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations, financial/budget management, regulatory compliance (OSHA, Title X, Medicaid), and quality improvement processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, EHR/EPM systems, and data analytics tools
  • Active CPR certification required upon hire
  • Valid Maryland driver's license
  • Reliable personal vehicle
  • Auto insurance in compliance with Maryland vehicle code requirements
  • Must pass Criminal Background Screening
  • Right to Work in the United States
  • COVID-19 vaccination required as part of employment
