About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and maintain HRIS employee data and employment lifecycle changes, coordinating with Finance on payroll-related HR data
- Develop, maintain, and enhance HR reports, dashboards, and queries
- Maintain HR systems data integrity and provide analysis to HR leadership
- Administer medical, dental, vision, HRA, HSA, FSA, life insurance, STD/LTD, and other benefits
- Support benefits compliance and coordinate benefit deduction and payroll-related changes
- Plan and administer annual open enrollment with benefits partners and People & Culture leadership
- Support year-round benefits education and communication
- Administer FMLA, ADA, and other leave and accommodation requests
- Act as first point of contact for workers’ compensation matters and submit claims when applicable
- Lead the interactive process for reasonable accommodation requests
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Compile and analyze HR metrics and data related to recruitment, engagement, turnover, and compliance
- Support HR projects, employee and manager training, engagement initiatives, events, and activities
- Identify, document, and implement HR process, workflow, and system improvements
- Provide Tier 1 employee relations support to managers, including documentation and corrective action coordination
- Escalate complex, sensitive, or higher-risk employee relations matters to the Director of People & Culture
- Adhere to affiliate policies, procedures, meeting and training requirements, and attendance expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of progressive experience in HR operations, HRIS administration, benefits, leave administration, or a related HR function
- Demonstrated experience administering and maintaining an HRIS, including employee data management, system transactions, reporting, and maintaining data integrity
- Demonstrated experience in benefits administration and leave administration, including familiarity with applicable federal and state requirements
- Experience developing and maintaining HR reports, dashboards, and queries using HRIS or other reporting tools
- Experience identifying and implementing improvements to HR processes, workflows, and systems
- Advanced skill level using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong time management, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Excellent judgment and discretion when handling employee inquiries, interpreting policies, and escalating sensitive issues
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication with employees, managers, and HR team members
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations related to benefits, leave, HR operations, and employee relations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or 6 years related experience in lieu of degree (preferred, but not required)
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment or health care environment (preferred)
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now (a plus)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Successful final candidate must complete a background check
