About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the complete design cycle from discovery and problem definition through high-fidelity delivery and post-launch follow-up
Design, test, and refine solutions using quantitative and qualitative evidence
Collaborate with Managers, Engineers, Marketers, Content Strategists, and stakeholders to align user needs with business objectives
Contribute to and scale the design system across Web, iOS, and Android
Clearly communicate design decisions using data and UX principles
Craft immersive and impactful experiences that transition learners from passive to active online learning
Help define product strategy and execution and shape Platzi’s online learning product experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience in Product Design
Experience creating user-centered design solutions
Experience in mass-consumption digital products (B2C) or SaaS is a nice to have
Experience working in startup environments is highly preferred
Mastery of Figma and FigJam
Portfolio demonstrating UI design, rationale behind decisions, and achieved results
Proficiency in design systems development and implementation
Strong collaboration skills with managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Experience using analytics and user feedback tools to inform and validate design decisions
Experience with cross-platform design for desktop, web, and mobile products
Ability to lead design sprints and apply design thinking methodologies
Fluent in English and Spanish
