Build AI features that ship to students and own them in production, including performance, reliability, cost, and failure recovery
Design orchestration for agents, tools, and flows that can be debugged
Use evaluations to measure improvements, regressions, and trade-offs
Select the appropriate approach among LLMs, classic machine learning models, and deterministic code
Make defensible architecture decisions and avoid unnecessary complexity
Raise engineering standards through code reviews and early decision-making
Report to the AI Lead

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years building software in production, including owning a system through real scale or a migration
Strong fundamentals in data modeling, APIs, performance, concurrency, and failure modes
Experience taking LLM-powered systems to production, not just prototypes
Comfortable working with Pydantic, Agents SDK, and A2A, and able to explain framework choices
Experience with classic machine learning
A product built that can be seen and used
Fluent English and Spanish
