About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Drive high standards for period close, improving quality and speed
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate responses to audit requests
- Drive closure of audit questions
- Analyse monthly consolidated results, flagging risks, unusual transactions, and key movements
- Provide decision-ready insights for finance leadership
- Identify accounting risks and implement practical mitigations
- Strengthen internal controls for scalable and accurate processes
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and consistency
- Standardise and simplify recurring accounting work
- Lead the Audit Readiness initiative
- Collaborate with Finance to embed AI-forward ways of working and automate manual workflows
- Develop process improvement and financial analysis capabilities across legal entity markets
- Report to the Accounting Associate Director and collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience
- Strong ability to apply IFRS in real-world scenarios
- Experience with consolidated results, variance analysis, and complex accounting estimates and judgments
- Proven experience managing audits end-to-end or acting as the primary finance contact for external auditors
- Track record or clear potential using AI and automation to improve accounting outcomes and efficiency
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing environment with an ownership mindset and excellent judgment
- Ability to translate complex accounting issues into scalable process improvements and clear stakeholder insights
- Application must be submitted in English
- Must be legally allowed to work in the chosen location
