About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop the PMA portfolio in Northern Alberta, including on- and off-premise outlets in the Greater Edmonton area and assigned rural communities
  • Deliver objectives for Minimum Outlet Execution Standards, Minimum Outlet Inventory Levels, and Territory Depletions versus target
  • Manage annual depletions by brand expression for assigned outlets
  • Deliver Minimum Execution Standard outcomes by brand expression within assigned outlets
  • Deliver Shopper Conversion Driver outcomes by brand expression within assigned outlets
  • Maintain up-to-date journey plans for assigned outlet coverage
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 MES | SCD status-versus-target review sessions with the Sales Manager
  • Produce monthly scorecards on territory key business metrics
  • Produce monthly price audits and competitive gaming reports within assigned outlets
  • Manage minimum inventory levels by SKU within assigned on- and off-premise outlets
  • Create actionable individual development plans for the role
  • Travel extensively during the day and occasionally overnight within the territory or district
  • Report to the Sales Manager | Alberta Independents North

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 Years of Territory Management Experience (Beverage Alcohol or CPG)
  • Well Demonstrated Track Record of Working in a Team Environment with Strong Sales Initiative and Focus on Delivering Results
  • Previous experience dealing with restaurants, bars and other OP venues as well as retail (liquor) stores would be beneficial
  • Well Demonstrated Track Record of Managing Stakeholders
  • Post Secondary Degree in Business
  • Hybrid Working Environment with demonstrated track record of working independently
  • Minimum 90% of Time in Field including Ability to Travel Overnight within Territory or District as Required
  • Evening and weekend work may be required from time to time from the individual in order to be successful in the role
  • Valid Driver’s License with Fully Insured & Reliable Personal Vehicle
  • Must be Legally Able to Work in Canada
  • Must be of Legal Drinking Age
  • Carrying & Lifting 45-65 pounds
  • Immediate reaching to perform various duties
  • Overhead Reaching to perform various duties
  • Standing & Walking for periods of time to perform various duties
  • Squatting or Bending to perform various duties as assigned
  • Effective Working Knowledge of On and Off Premise Operating Rhythms
