About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee limited portfolios and/or routine borrower requests and inquiries for securitized CMBS, Agency, SASB, SFR, or other portfolios backed by income-producing commercial real estate
  • Review financial statements, loan covenants, market data, and economic data to determine economic and compliance impacts
  • Determine equity risk categories and oversee assigned portfolios
  • Monitor and report on watch-list assets
  • Review and respond to customer and external-party inquiries while following compliance procedures
  • Interact with rating agencies, special servicers, investors, 17G-5 providers, and legal counsel
  • Collaborate with internal business partners on cross-departmental decision-making
  • Assess property inspections for watch-list determinations and escalation to internal partners
  • Board collateral-related information and report to required parties
  • Provide analytical or other support to the Asset Management Department

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program
  • In lieu of a degree, comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • Bachelor's degree listed under Education
  • Working knowledge of commercial real estate, including industry terminology and capital markets
  • Proven ability to make accurate and informed decisions
  • Strong financial accounting and analysis skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Effective multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • No required certifications or licenses
  • No required or preferred language assessments
  • Must work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if approved for remote work
  • PNC will not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT
  • Position subject to Section 19 of the FDIA and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal history
