About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform or assist in banking activities, including relationship management and/or product suite activities
  • Work under supervision with potentially limited approval and/or exception authority
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, and operational risks
  • Help ensure quality for new and existing clients
  • Assist in preparing offerings and/or scorecards
  • Analyze information and apply critical thinking to design and/or execute client solutions
  • Take transactions from request to booking and/or move selling conversations from proposal to closed business
  • Drive fee income through internal and/or external relationship management
  • Consider internal policies, external regulatory requirements, and client needs in decision-making
  • Interact with internal and external clients to gather or clarify information and expand client relationships
  • Articulate recommendations to customers regarding client servicing and product-related inquiries
  • Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate risk using knowledge of internal policies
  • Participate in social learning, networking, mentoring, job shadowing, and community outreach
  • Develop foundations in credit, product, and sales
  • Participate in formal learning to develop treasury product knowledge, industry benchmarking, and solution positioning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of book of business, client relationship building, customer engagement, decision making, financial analysis, and identifying sales opportunities
