About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods
- Execute line-of-business initiatives, growth strategies, and programs supporting business objectives
- Execute and implement business planning processes
- Help design strategic plans based on forecasts and provide improvement recommendations
- Develop solutions, roadmaps, and assessments of potential business impacts
- Identify and execute opportunities that add business value and achieve business goals
- Work with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy
- Serve as a subject-matter resource and advocate for best practices and learning plans
- Review scopes of work and obtain quotes
- Track and report overhead costs, efficiencies, cost avoidance, and cost savings
- Manage budgets and forecast monthly costs
- Support vendor identification, due diligence, and onboarding
- Prepare materials for committee approvals and new project funding requests
- Develop reporting packages covering equipment upgrades, spending, work status, and completion timelines
- Deliver customer-focused work while applying appropriate risk management practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Strong professional background in project coordination/management
- Significant experience with scope of work review and quote obtainment
- Understanding of invoicing and finance protocol and processing
- Experience managing budgets and forecasting costs for monthly reporting
- Experience identifying, conducting due diligence on, and onboarding new vendors
- Ability to review and approve vendor proposals in accordance with contract pricing and line-of-business standards
- Ability to manage vendor service request volumes, service-level agreement compliance, and installation quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver to deadlines
- Solid attention to detail when managing Physical Security protection standards
- Technical expertise in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- No required certifications or licenses
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must be eligible to work without employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation
