About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct research, discovery, collection, and interpretation of business requirements
  • Develop and review complex processes, procedures, workflow analytics, and reporting
  • Provide senior-level consultation and communication with clients and technology teams
  • Recommend frameworks, methodologies, and processes for business requirements traceability
  • Mentor, lead, and coach associates to support knowledge transfer
  • Oversee policy and procedure documentation
  • Translate business needs and processes by partnering with experts and stakeholders
  • Lead business analysis project management through planning, quality assurance, and effectiveness assessment
  • Provide direction for successful project deployment
  • Develop, analyze, and distribute complex reporting
  • Identify business needs and define solution approach and scope
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions and translate needs into actionable requirements
  • Research and resolve commercial lending business and technical issues
  • Develop process and data flow documentation, including current- and future-state mappings
  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases and guide testing resources
  • Ensure solutions align with business goals and objectives
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and write, review, and refine user stories

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree, typically a bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions
  • Excellent requirements gathering, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in agile methodology for software development
  • Ability to structure ambiguous information and create clear, actionable output
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience writing requirements for and testing APIs preferred but not required
  • No employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation
