Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of virtual Business Banking Healthcare Relationship Managers with large books of business serving businesses in the $2–10MM annual revenue range
  • Provide strategic direction, performance coaching, and day-to-day leadership
  • Drive portfolio growth, client satisfaction, and risk management
  • Manage and direct a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals
  • Lead and coordinate daily customer and prospect management activities
  • Coach and manage team members against defined strategies and tactics
  • Develop and oversee account and sales plans
  • Manage risk/return and quality for new and existing clients
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
  • Build senior internal and external relationships to acquire clients, expand relationships, and enhance client experience
  • Bring PNC's full range of products and services to clients
  • Use reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
  • Develop team members and monitor progress against individual goals
  • Motivate and develop staff, acquire top talent, and manage performance issues
  • Plan, organize, direct, analyze, and evaluate staff and processes
  • Connect strategy to day-to-day activities and regularly update the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required; Education: Bachelors
  • 8+ years of industry experience typically required
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Proven experience in fast-paced Business Banking Healthcare environments
  • Advanced knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
  • Knowledge of account management, business banking, client prospecting, coaching, customer relationships, sales opportunity identification, leadership, negotiation, and staff oversight
  • Competencies in conflict management, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, sales management, and selling
  • Must be able to regularly report into a PNC major facility, including facilities not listed on the posting
  • Must be able to work with teams mainly in EST and CST zones
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
  • Subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for any registered role, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
