About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver a unique customer experience that improves financial wellbeing, creates loyalty, and increases share of wallet
  • Process a variety of customer interactions
  • Educate customers on alternatives for financial interactions and options for managing transactions
  • Identify banking opportunities during customer interactions and make appropriate referrals to branch staff
  • Perform lobby engagement activities and position PNC products to meet customer needs
  • Leverage technology, tools, and resources to support customer transactions
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems
  • Adhere to policies and procedures and demonstrate sound judgment within established limits
  • Complete teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Support proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, service-to-sales, teller interactions, and lobby engagement
  • Support customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through differentiated customer experiences
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve customer problems effectively

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically less than 1 year of related experience
  • Related experience or product knowledge may be required
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Knowledge of banking and branch banking
  • Customer experience and customer service knowledge
