About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver a unique customer experience to improve financial wellbeing, create loyalty, and increase share of wallet
  • Process a variety of customer interactions
  • Educate customers on alternatives for financial interactions and transaction management
  • Identify banking opportunities through meaningful customer conversations and make appropriate referrals to branch staff
  • Perform lobby engagement activities and position PNC products to meet customer needs
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems
  • Adhere to policies and procedures and exercise sound judgment within established limits
  • Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Support proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, service-to-sales, teller interactions, and lobby engagement
  • Support customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve customer problems effectively

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically less than 1 year of related experience
  • Related experience or product knowledge may be required
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Knowledge of banking products and branch banking
  • Customer service and client loyalty skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Digital awareness and ability to leverage technology
  • Fraud detection and prevention knowledge
