About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support compliance programs promoting adherence to applicable laws, regulations, card network requirements, and internal policies
  • Gather, review, and analyze information to identify compliance considerations, risks, and potential impacts
  • Evaluate compliance implications of marketing materials, sales programs, product development, documentation reviews, and other business initiatives
  • Research applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements
  • Maintain and draft Compliance Manuals, procedures, job aids, policies, and supporting documentation
  • Execute compliance monitoring, control management, reviews, testing, evidence collection, and issue tracking activities
  • Work with business partners, merchants, and third parties to obtain information, resolve questions, and support compliance objectives
  • Prepare compliance reports, track action items, identify trends, and escalate risks through governance channels
  • Support enhancements to reporting processes and tools used to monitor compliance activities and regulatory requirements
  • Develop the ability to constructively challenge conclusions and status quo

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience supporting Visa and Mastercard compliance activities, card network rule requirements, or related payment industry functions
  • Basic understanding of PCI DSS requirements and payment compliance concepts
  • Experience executing recurring control management activities, including RCSA support, control performance and testing, evidence collection, issue tracking, compliance reviews, and other risk and control responsibilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes
  • Must work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if approved for remote work
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
