About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage physical properties in an assigned region and influence property performance to achieve the lowest efficient operating expense level
- Ensure properties operate in a code-compliant, safe, functional, and cost-effective manner
- Manage vendors and contractors
- Prepare annual operating budgets and capital/expense project plans
- Maintain relationships with existing end users, regional management hierarchy, and market operations managers
- Communicate with line-of-business heads for assigned buildings
- Visit each facility as required, at least once each year
- Implement building-unique facility strategic plans
- Execute a facility's churn process, including new hires, for up to 10 people
- Oversee property-related projects up to $200,000, including reconfigurations and consolidations
- Ensure projects are on budget, on time, and completed with minimal disruption to end users
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- Bachelor's degree
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
- Knowledge of budgeting, competitive advantages, cost effectiveness analysis, cost reduction, investment management, results-oriented practices, and strategic planning
