About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist PNC business customers through the Care Center organization
  • Field 50–60 inbound phone calls daily
  • Provide first-call resolution for client concerns, technology support, and general account inquiries
  • Support deposit, lending, and credit card products
  • Receive, investigate, and respond to customer inquiries through all service channels
  • Resolve customer service inquiries and issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Resolve complex or recurring issues and interact with higher-level customer contacts
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and demonstrate commitment to quality
  • Document customer interactions and complete service requests
  • Deliver the CARES model to customers and service partners
  • Assess and manage risks in accordance with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • Work varied shifts between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, including weekend requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires 1+ years of related experience
  • Current PNC Care Center experience expected for successful candidates
  • Knowledge of business or consumer accounts, deposit, lending, and credit card products
  • Customer service and technical support skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Client relationship management
  • Decision making and critical thinking
  • Effective communications
  • Fraud detection and prevention
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Problem solving and products and services knowledge
  • Tech savvy
  • Dedicated, confidential workspace with a closable door for privacy
  • High-speed internet with a direct wired connection to a cable or fiber modem and router
  • Internet connection capable of at least 20 Mbps download and upload speeds
  • Must not use DSL, satellite, dial-up, cellular, microwave, Broadband Powerline, or wireless internet
  • Must meet the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, applicable SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
  • PNC will not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT
