About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead operational database services across MongoDB, MySQL, Neo4j, and Informatica platforms
- Drive automation and operational efficiency through self-service and automated execution capabilities
- Lead incident response and service restoration, including root-cause identification, recovery, escalation management, and corrective actions
- Manage database changes, maintenance, upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and recovery procedures
- Establish monitoring, health checks, capacity and performance management, resiliency testing, and preventive maintenance
- Deliver products and services aligned with business needs and objectives
- Oversee multiple teams or departments within Enterprise Infrastructure
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, development strategies, initiatives, and product lifecycle/service orientation
- Determine current and future enterprise infrastructure needs
- Oversee portfolio, program, and project management responsibilities
- Direct financial management and risk management capabilities
- Support stable and secure environments, incident management, product health/patching, and asset management lifecycle
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and executive management as needed
- Implement technology architecture and management best practices
- Direct, motivate, develop, and oversee management team and key staff performance
- Cultivate diverse teams, drive change and innovation, deliver results, and develop employees and customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
- Bachelor's degree listed under Education
- Typically 8+ years of industry experience
- At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities in information security, IT architecture, network administration, network support, software testing, and system administration
- Competencies in hardware infrastructure, information security technologies, IT architecture, IT environment, IT industry trends and directions, IT service management, IT standards/procedures/policies, IT systems management, and system and technology integration

- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT
