About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult on investment and insurance strategies and develop financial plans for clients
  • Grow and retain an investment and insurance book of business
  • Own the client experience, handling sales and service efficiently
  • Identify sales and execute opportunities; make referrals to internal business partners
  • Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through branch business development and outbound calling
  • Grow client loyalty and share of wallet through exceptional client experiences
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve client problems
  • Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies
  • Determine suitable products and present financial recommendations and guidance
  • Establish, monitor, and update individual financial plans
  • Coach and educate branch staff and internal business partners on identifying investment opportunities
  • Drive investment education and visibility among branch staff
  • Lead branch actions to achieve investment results in partnership with branch leadership
  • Communicate with internal and external partners to build relationships and drive referrals
  • Review business results and pipeline management with branch managers and internal partners
  • Meet service-level agreements for lead and referral follow-up
  • Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience in lieu of a degree
  • Associate-level education listed
  • Less than 1 year of professional experience typically required, and/or successful completion of a formal development program
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66, or Series 7 and 63/65, required
  • Life and Health Insurance license required
  • Knowledge of coaching others, customer experience management, customer retention, prospecting, sales tasks and activities, and selling
  • Effective communications and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • No employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT
  • Subject to FDIA Section 19 and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
