About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage client investment portfolios in accordance with investment objectives developed with clients
  • Deliver PNC’s investment experience through actionable advice, market insight, and investment-results reporting
  • Provide ongoing portfolio management, including monitoring investment performance and managing portfolio risk
  • Address compliance-related items accurately and promptly
  • Maintain and grow assets under management through self-sourced opportunities, teammate referrals, and partnerships with other PNC business lines
  • Participate in sales efforts through the introduction and expansion of financial services to clients
  • Serve as a trusted advisor through regular communication and proactive engagement, including established monthly client contact
  • Collaborate with Banking Advisors, Relationship Strategists, Investment Associates, and Portfolio Administrators
  • Execute risk management practices in accordance with PNC policies and procedures
  • Conduct primarily virtual client interactions via telephone and Microsoft Teams video meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Knowledge of investment and asset management strategies
  • Skills in accountability, budget management, competitive advantages, decision making, finance strategy, financial modeling, investment management, and relationship management
  • Competencies in client relationship management, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, investment consulting, portfolio management, products and services, and value selling
  • No required certifications
  • No required licenses
  • No required or preferred language assessments
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation
  • Subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements concerning certain criminal histories
