About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide portfolio/platform and relationship management services to selected clients with large and complex account types
- Manage accounts according to client-developed investment objectives, PNC’s investment approach, philosophy, and platform
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of complex investment and asset management strategies
- Lead growth of assets under management and client retention for the assigned markets
- Support acquisition of new clients and expansion of services
- Participate in or lead investment sales efforts for selected large and complex investment prospects
- Provide leadership and direction to investment professionals
- Manage performance management, hiring, and coaching reviews of investment professionals
- Manage 15 Investment Advisors and provide continued training throughout the territory
- Execute risk management practices in accordance with PNC policies and procedures
- Identify, resolve, or escalate risk-management issues
- Ensure execution of policies and Regulation 9 in the assigned markets
- Travel throughout Northwest, Northeast, and Central Pennsylvania market territories and multiple offices
- Cultivate diverse teams and inclusive workplaces

Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required for roles at this level; Education listed as Bachelors
- Industry experience typically 8+ years
- At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Knowledge of investment management and portfolio management
- Client relationship management experience
- Risk management and sales management knowledge
- Financial modeling and finance strategy skills
- Budget management and relationship management skills
- Decision-making and critical-thinking skills
- Effective communication skills
- No required certifications
- No required licenses
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must be able to work in an in-office environment
