About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Steward the enterprise’s Responsible AI principles and oversee their interpretation, implementation, and evolution
  • Lead operations of the cross-functional Responsible AI Governance Forum
  • Develop agendas, engage stakeholders, track decisions, and prepare the annual Responsible AI report
  • Partner with HR, Ethics, Compliance, and other stakeholders to drive adoption of Responsible and Ethical AI practices
  • Define training requirements and AI use case engagement processes
  • Review proposed and deployed AI solutions for alignment with Responsible AI principles
  • Identify AI risks, provide recommendations, and escalate concerns as needed
  • Coordinate external academic research partnerships on responsible and ethical AI in financial services
  • Build relationships with senior leaders and coordinate initiatives involving executive stakeholders
  • Communicate complex AI governance, risk, and compliance topics to executive audiences
  • Develop executive presentations, reports, and communications for governance forums and strategic decisions
  • Direct analytical projects using structured and unstructured data to extract business insights
  • Direct data gathering, processing, and mining of large and complex datasets
  • Provide technical expertise to advance data science capabilities
  • Supervise advanced analytics projects and help data scientists present analytical processes and outcomes
  • Partner with Data Architects, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Visualization Experts to develop data-driven solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required for roles at this level
  • Master's degree listed under Education
  • 8+ years of industry-relevant experience typically required
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Preferred proficiency in Power BI and Python
  • Knowledge of AI risk management, artificial intelligence, data analytics, data mining, data science, and machine learning
  • Competencies in data architecture, modeling, prototyping, and query/database access tools
  • No required certifications
  • No required licenses
  • No required or preferred language assessments
