About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond to complex incoming Requests for Proposals for new client acquisition, client relationship growth, and retention of existing client relationships
  • Determine appropriate base content and compose custom, tailored content for solicited and proactive proposals
  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling proposals describing client solutions
  • Lead market teams as project manager through proposal production and review processes
  • Compose complex client-centric proposal packages aligned with team vision, business strategy, and prospect needs
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to team members
  • Escalate process or training concerns to the team manager
  • Maintain knowledge of supported products and services through training and internal/external communications
  • Identify and manage risks associated with developing and distributing RFPs and RFIs
  • Undertake self-education through training modules, conferences, web-exes, and other resources

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required for roles at this level
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Foundation Level CFA certification expected within 2 years of accepting the position
  • Knowledge of supported products and services
  • Ability to respond to complex RFPs and RFIs
  • Ability to compose clear, concise, compelling, custom, and tailored proposal content
