About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond to complex incoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new client acquisition, client growth, and retention
  • Determine appropriate base content for proposals
  • Compose custom and tailored content for solicited and proactive proposals
  • Coach, mentor, and guide team members in alignment with management’s vision and strategic plan
  • Lead the market team as project manager through proposal production and review processes
  • Compose complex, client-centric proposal packages aligned with team vision, business strategy, and prospect needs
  • Escalate process or training concerns to the team manager
  • Maintain knowledge of supported products and services through training and communications
  • Apply product and service knowledge to RFP/RFI development
  • Identify and manage inherent risk associated with developing and distributing RFPs/RFIs
  • Pursue self-education on technology and tools through training modules, conferences, web-exes, and other resources
  • Promote customer-focused decision-making and adherence to PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Expected to obtain Foundation Level CFA certification within 2 years of accepting the position
