About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support syndicated loan activities across the full deal lifecycle
  • Learn Business Credit UK and Syndication Support functions before assuming trade closing responsibilities
  • Book and service UK syndicated loan deals in ACBS
  • Perform reporting and servicing and support ongoing trade maintenance
  • Process and maintain deal documentation in SyndTrak
  • Coordinate investor access and update life-of-loan activity
  • Manage investor data and support CUSIP generation
  • Liaise between deal closers and operational systems
  • Review and process trade documentation
  • Handle trade settlement activities
  • Conduct KYC and tax validation
  • Review loan agreements to confirm transferability
  • Execute finalized trades in ACBS
  • Assist with additional support for Debt Capital Markets
  • Document, fund, and perform due diligence for standard or complex transactions
  • Provide client-facing service and interact with external business partners
  • Prepare and issue legal documents while ensuring transaction terms are met
  • Gather information and coordinate closings with internal and external contacts
  • Direct workflow to meet client expectations and build relationships with legal counsel, vendors, and internal partners
  • Analyze transaction information and resolve inquiries or issues
  • Comply with regulations and internal procedures and assist with audit exceptions
  • Validate transaction structures against pricing models
  • Assure potential perfection of security interests or request approval for exceptions
  • Provide on-the-job training or coaching as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required, or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Typically less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program
  • Knowledge of syndicated loans highly preferred
  • Familiarity with ACBS systems highly preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of operational functions, products and services, and the regulatory environment in financial services
