About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer high-complexity or high-risk syndicated and/or commercial loan transactions with little or no oversight
  • Fulfill key fiduciary obligations associated with the Bank's Agent role when applicable
  • Validate construction due diligence requirements and monitor construction progress and draw requirements when applicable
  • Interact directly with high-revenue/high-profile corporate and/or commercial real estate clients
  • Review customized commercial, legal, and related due diligence documentation and reporting
  • Ensure adherence to complex deal structures and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Recommend whether deals can proceed or require additional documentation or escalation
  • Advise customers, investors, capital markets loan syndications, commercial real estate deal teams, and internal and external business partners
  • Work with Relationship Managers to interpret applicable loan terms with clients
  • Review transactions and related documents, including collateral and construction requirements
  • Verify completeness, accuracy, credit approval and legal-document conformance, service levels, and procedures
  • Determine whether loan disbursements can be made or require additional documentation or escalation
  • Review reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure compliance
  • Participate in risk mitigation activities
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for the team
  • Independently conduct specialty product training and may create training materials
  • Service a portfolio of clients or complete participation deals based on instructions from agent banks
  • Process incoming payments, advances, loan conversions, rate rollovers, and general loan maintenance
  • Address high-priority items, conduct advance due diligence, review notices, input advances, release funds, process payments, and balance general ledgers
  • Proactively manage the client portfolio and help train and guide team members on deal processing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exposure to ACBS
  • Wire transfer experience
  • Loan administration experience, with an emphasis on application of payments
  • Account reconciliation experience
  • Excel spreadsheet familiarity
  • Loan servicing experience
  • Commercial loan knowledge
  • Operations experience
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • University/college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Bachelor's degree listed under Education
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am EST–5:00 pm EST
  • Must be able to work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if approved for remote work
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
  • Ability to handle complex deals and exercise sound judgment
  • Skills in analytical thinking, capital management, compliance requirements, documentation, due diligence, loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Competencies in accuracy and attention to detail, consulting, customer interaction, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, financial analysis, managing multiple priorities, operational functions, products and services, and relationship management
