About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support multiple internal risk areas in evaluating innovative analytics
  • Deliver insights for management of vendor risk, performance, and value
  • Identify problems and escalate them for resolution
  • Communicate consistently with relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in executing the Line of Business Risk Management program
  • Identify opportunities for program enhancement
  • Enable line-of-business adherence to risk programs under supervision
  • Assist in designing and developing risk management programs to meet business and regulatory expectations
  • Execute risk management programs within or across lines of business
  • Participate in business self-assessments and quality reviews
  • Consult on execution of program components
  • Develop risk expertise while working with businesses and risk partners, including Compliance, Credit, Legal, and Audit
  • Participate in risk initiatives, business-as-usual activities, and ad hoc requests
  • Identify risk exposures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of risk management programs
  • Knowledge of operational risk and internal controls
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Data gathering and reporting
  • Decision making and critical thinking
  • Effective communications
  • Process management and standard operating procedures
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not provide sponsorship
