About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Recommend loan solutions according to lending guidelines and client requirements
  • Manage daily loan activities of a small, high-performing Mortgage Loan Officer team
  • Manage a portfolio of customer relationships
  • Seek prospective opportunities to retain and develop new clients
  • Prepare loan solutions and refer other banking products and services
  • Review documentation for compliance
  • Grow, retain, and develop an effective sales force covering the market geography
  • Manage personal and team pipelines for efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions
  • Collect and analyze customer financial information for multifaceted and complex borrowers
  • Assess and manage business risks in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
  • Maintain customer-focused decision-making and create customized customer solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • University/college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Proven history of production in the market
  • Knowledge of banking products, mortgages, and mortgage products
  • Client prospecting and customer relationship management
  • Customer solutions and documentation
  • Financial analysis and loan origination
  • Sales skills and sales tasks/activities
  • Coaching others and matrix management
  • Effective communications and customer experience management
  • Candidates are subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations
  • Must satisfy applicable Section 19 FDIA and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
