About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team responsible for identifying, monitoring, and enforcing commercial real estate loan covenants
- Perform customized and complex financial tests
- Monitor team performance and support individual development
- Research loan documents and solve problems
- Quality-check the team’s work
- Update procedures and provide training
- Drive team engagement
- Collaborate with other team managers and departments on key processes
- Handle escalated issues and identify resolutions
- Execute the operating plan and communicate strategic direction to the operations team
- Manage supervisors and/or individual contributors across one or more functions or sites
- Achieve business results and resolve exceptions
- Process and/or reconcile transactions in accordance with policies and procedures
- Partner internally and interact with external customers or third parties to resolve escalated issues
- Provide coaching and development, lead staff meetings, and translate strategy into tactical operating plans
- Advise service partners and customers
- Identify and implement process improvements and represent operations on projects
- Develop and/or approve standard operating procedures and recommend policy improvements
- Review transactions and reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure compliance
- Manage risk mitigation and business resiliency activities
- Verify procedure completeness and accuracy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically 5+ years of related experience
- At least 2 years of previous supervisory experience
- Related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge of accountability, customer solutions, compliance, personal initiative, process improvements, results orientation, risk mitigation strategies, and standard operating procedures
