About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in developing the operations strategy and execute the operating plan
  • Communicate strategy to the operations team
  • Manage two or more functions across one or more sites, or manage a complex product, function, or location
  • Manage managers, supervisors, and/or individual contributors
  • Manage and achieve desired business results
  • Act as a senior escalation point and resolve exceptions related to complex processes and product support
  • Review and provide oversight of end-to-end processes with varying risk and financial value
  • Interact with customers and third parties to drive results and resolve escalated issues
  • Coach and develop team members, supervisors, and/or managers
  • Lead staff meetings and translate strategic direction into tactical operating plans
  • Provide consultation and advice to service partners and customers
  • Identify and influence strategic improvement initiatives
  • Represent or sponsor the operations group on projects
  • Develop, review, and/or approve standard operating procedures
  • Recommend and/or drive policy improvements
  • Oversee or own the control framework for assigned units
  • Review transactions, reports, and key risk indicators to identify exceptions and monitor quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree / university or college degree
  • 3+ years of industry-relevant experience
  • 2 years of previous managerial experience for an operations or production environment position
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities appropriate for the role
  • Skills in accountability, customer solutions, compliance, personal initiative, process improvements, results orientation, risk mitigation strategies, and standard operating procedures
  • Competencies in decision-making and critical thinking, effective communications, internal resource coordination, operational functions, problem-solving, process management, and standard operating procedures
  • Must work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if approved for remote work
  • No employment visa sponsorship or STEM OPT participation
  • Subject to FDIA Section 19 requirements and, for any registered role, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements
