About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive audit information from PNC clients for Commercial Equipment inventory
  • Audit equipment inventory to ensure tractors, forklifts, trucks, trailers, and other equipment are accounted for
  • Travel by vehicle and/or plane approximately 1–5 days per week to conduct audits or assist team members
  • Gather necessary information and escalate matters when equipment is not accounted for, according to standard operating procedures
  • Oversee operations workflow and assist the team with complex transactions and processes
  • Monitor and coordinate workflow and resolve escalated issues
  • Process and/or reconcile moderate- to high-risk, high-value transactions according to policies and procedures
  • Partner internally to identify, resolve, and provide guidance on escalations
  • Interact with external customers and third parties to complete transactions or resolve escalated issues
  • Coach team members and provide training
  • Lead team huddles, meetings, and continuous improvement sessions
  • Provide input on team member performance and development
  • Advise internal and external customers
  • Review processes and drive improvements and implementation
  • Update standard operating procedures
  • Participate in projects and serve as a subject matter resource
  • Review transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, service-level conformance, and policy compliance
  • Participate in risk mitigation activities
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of procedures
  • Complete approximately 18 audits per month as a team across various markets and states

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Based in the PNC Footprint
  • Expected to travel by vehicle and/or plane approximately 1–5 days per week to audit or assist team members with auditing
  • Preferred candidates will have floorplan dealership experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program typically required for this level
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • Ability to audit Commercial Equipment inventory, including tractors, forklifts, trucks, and trailers
  • Ability to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective communications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of operational functions, process management, standard operating procedures, and risk mitigation
  • No required certifications or licenses
  • No required or preferred language assessments
  • Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT
