About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance inbound and outbound fraud mitigation strategies
  • Analyze transaction, fraud alert, and fraud loss data to evaluate performance and identify strategy improvements
  • Create, refine, and optimize fraud rules
  • Monitor performance and report on key performance indicators
  • Provide analytical support for launching and implementing new fraud models
  • Update strategies to leverage new model scores
  • Support transaction limit analysis and evolving limit structures
  • Leverage analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for analytics processes, tools, and applications
  • Recommend performance measures including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics
  • Analyze and process data, build and maintain models and report templates, and develop dynamic data-driven solutions
  • Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting findings from data processing and analysis
  • Consult on business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitate implementation of new tools and data marts
  • Manage risks associated with business objectives and activities within PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree listed under Education
  • Knowledge of analytical thinking, business intelligence, concept development, data-driven decision making, data integration, market research, performance metrics, qualitative research, and strategic planning
  • Competency in business acumen, business analytics, consulting, decision making and critical thinking, and effective communications
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python/PySpark, Excel, Tableau, and/or Power BI
  • Must be eligible for the role's applicable requirements under Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
