Key responsibilities & impact

Provide centralized strategy, coordination, and execution oversight across product and cross-functional teams
Ensure continuity and delivery for large, complex programs where existing product capacity is constrained
Act as Principal Product Owner for high-complexity, multi-workstream initiatives
Drive alignment across stakeholders on priorities, scope, and outcomes
Establish execution discipline, including backlog clarity, planning rigor, and outcome tracking
Improve visibility and transparency across initiatives for product leadership and partners
Stabilize programs where ownership is fragmented or execution risk is elevated
Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Delivery to ensure high-quality outputs and outcomes
Own the vision and definition of the product and serve as the voice of the customer
Define and convey the vision to teams to address client requirements and business objectives
Create, maintain, prioritize, and lead grooming of the product backlog
Work with Scrum Masters and development teams to focus development on the right priorities
Serve as the primary point of contact for team questions and make empowered decisions
Assess and manage risks associated with business objectives and activities within PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Apply customer-focused practices when making business decisions and creating customer solutions

What you’ll need

At least 8 years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Manager
Strong experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Manager on complex initiatives
Experience in Payments and/or Financial Services
Demonstrated ability to manage large backlogs, dependencies, and cross-team coordination
Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders
Proven delivery mindset with a focus on outcomes
Experience serving as a lead or principal Product Owner across multiple teams
Background in scaling or stabilizing delivery in growing product organizations
Familiarity with modern product delivery and agile practices
Bachelor's degree
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
Must be able to work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if approved for remote work
PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs
