Key responsibilities & impact

Lead multiple concurrent medium- to large-scale projects and strategic initiatives
Manage projects from original concept through implementation and post-project assessment
Deliver projects within scope, schedule, budget, and established timeframes
Develop project plans, timelines, governance structures, budgets, milestones, and stakeholder communication strategies
Manage and allocate resources, organize work, assign tasks, direct activities, and control project execution
Partner with business leaders, technology teams, risk partners, compliance organizations, operational stakeholders, internal project liaisons, and external vendors
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, roadblocks, and potential crises
Facilitate governance meetings and provide executive-level reporting on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators
Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, risk management, and organizational standards
Manage change control and support organizational change management efforts
Track and report progress, analyze results, define project products, and forecast future trends
Maintain communications with governing bodies and interested parties
Promote project management best practices and continuous improvement
Motivate and supervise project team members

What you’ll need

Project management experience leading complex business or technology initiatives
Experience managing large cross-functional projects
Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
Strong risk management, stakeholder management, budget management, and communication skills
Experience working within a regulated industry environment
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives, including AI implementation, process transformation, governance, or operationalization efforts
Financial services or banking industry experience preferred
PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification preferred but not required
University/college degree, typically a bachelor's degree
2+ years of relevant professional experience
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not provide sponsorship
Must satisfy applicable FDIA, SAFE Act, and/or FINRA hiring requirements where applicable
