About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead medium to large-scale projects and initiatives from planning through execution and closure
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex projects with moderate to high risk and visibility
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource allocations, and status reports
- Manage project scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and obstacles
- Facilitate project meetings, governance reviews, and stakeholder communications
- Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to define objectives, requirements, deliverables, and success measures
- Monitor project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and resource stewardship
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance processes, organizational standards, policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and change management practices
- Track performance metrics and provide timely updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Coordinate change management activities to support adoption of project outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement through process efficiencies, lessons learned, and best practices
- Collaborate across business units to resolve conflicts, manage competing priorities, and achieve objectives
- Manage complex projects from concept through implementation and post-project assessment
- Develop project strategy, processes, resource allocation, budgets, guidelines, and team support
- Acquire resources, assign tasks, direct activities, and control execution
- Coach and mentor project team members
- Track and report progress, analyze results, define project products, forecast trends, manage scope changes, identify crises, devise contingency plans, and recommend improvements
- Maintain communications with governing bodies and interested parties
- Communicate project expectations clearly and promptly to team members and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Bachelor's degree listed under Education
- Appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role
- No required certifications
- No required licenses
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship
- STEM OPT participation is not supported
- Subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and, for registered roles, the SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal histories
