About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology initiatives and associated workstreams
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, schedules, delivery roadmaps, and release timelines
  • Align project objectives and execution with enterprise priorities, technology roadmaps, and business goals
  • Coordinate execution across business, product, technology, architecture, quality engineering, operations, and vendor teams
  • Monitor progress, identify delivery risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage scope, schedule, resources, deliverables, budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variances
  • Support planning processes, investment governance reviews, business cases, and funding approvals
  • Prepare executive status reports, dashboards, milestone updates, governance materials, and strategic communications
  • Manage risks, issues, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, vendors, contracts, and organizational change
  • Ensure adherence to TPMO methodology, governance requirements, enterprise standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate governance forums, executive checkpoints, health assessments, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Measure delivery performance, business outcomes, benefit realization, and project health
  • Provide leadership, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to project team members and junior project managers
  • Manage projects from original concept through implementation, stabilization, and post-project assessment
  • Communicate project expectations, progress, recommendations, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and governing bodies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University / college degree, typically a Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience leading large-scale technology initiatives
  • Proven track record delivering complex technology, infrastructure, digital transformation, or enterprise modernization programs
  • Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking, and benefit realization
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, and cross-functional delivery teams
  • Strong organizational leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Experience managing enterprise-level risks, issues, vendors, contracts, and organizational change initiatives
  • Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple initiatives simultaneously in a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience within financial services, banking, payments, corporate banking, or a Technology PMO environment preferred
  • No required certifications or licenses
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT
