About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage relationships with new and existing clients in a $2MM–$10MM Business Banking book of business
- Grow sales, revenue, and market share while meeting relevant sales goals
- Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet
- Originate, analyze, negotiate, and document credit and non-credit products and services
- Manage risk/return and quality for new and existing clients
- Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
- Provide ideas and insights based on clients’ needs and financial well-being
- Increase client engagement and loyalty
- Build internal, community, and industry relationships to acquire and expand clients
- Present PNC’s full range of products and services
- Use reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
- Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk using credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
- Skills in book of business, client relationship building, credit processes, credit products, customer engagement, decision making, financial analysis, and identifying sales opportunities
- Competencies in business acumen, client relationship management, customer experience management, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, prospecting, selling, and tech savvy
- No required certifications
- No required licenses
- No required or preferred language assessments
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; PNC will not participate in STEM OPT
- Subject to Section 19 of the FDIA and, for registered roles, SAFE Act and/or FINRA requirements regarding certain criminal history
