About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage relationships with new and existing clients in a $2MM-$10MM business banking book of business
  • Grow sales, revenue, and market share against relevant sales goals
  • Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet
  • Originate, analyze, negotiate, and document credit and non-credit products and services
  • Manage risk/return and quality for new and existing clients
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
  • Provide ideas and insights based on client needs and financial well-being
  • Increase client engagement and loyalty
  • Build internal and external networks, including community and industry relationships
  • Acquire new clients and expand existing relationships
  • Present PNC's full range of products and services
  • Use reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
  • Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk using credit fundamentals and internal credit policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree typically required
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Knowledge of business acumen and client relationship management
  • Knowledge of credit processes and credit products
  • Financial analysis skills
  • Client relationship building and customer engagement skills
  • Decision-making and critical-thinking skills

  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk using credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
