About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and direct a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals
- Oversee execution of strategy
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of team members engaged in customer and prospect management
- Attract new customers and grow existing customer relationships by coaching and managing to defined strategies and tactics
- Develop and oversee account and sales plans
- Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and existing clients
- Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
- Build and manage senior internal and external relationships, including community and industry relationships
- Acquire new clients, expand existing clients, and enhance client experience
- Bring PNC's full range of products and services to clients
- Use reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
- Develop team members and monitor progress against individual goals
- Motivate and develop staff, acquire top talent, and manage performance issues
- Plan, organize, direct, analyze, and evaluate staff and processes
- Connect strategy to day-to-day activities and regularly update the team
- Coach team members on analyzing, evaluating, and mitigating credit risk and leading others on credit requests using advanced credit fundamentals and internal credit policies
- Travel regularly throughout SWPA, Central PA, MD, and N VA
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Merchant Services and leadership required
- Typically requires a university / college degree
- Industry experience is typically 8+ years
- At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
- Bachelor's degree
