About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and direct a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of team members engaged in customer and prospect management
- Coach and manage team members to defined strategies and tactics
- Develop and oversee execution of account and sales plans
- Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and existing clients
- Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks
- Manage senior internal and external relationships to acquire new clients, expand existing relationships, and enhance client experience
- Bring PNC's full range of products and services to clients
- Leverage reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities
- Develop team members and monitor progress against individual goals
- Motivate and develop staff, acquire top talent, and manage performance issues
- Plan, organize, direct, analyze, and evaluate staff and processes
- Connect strategy to day-to-day activities and regularly update the team
- Coach team members on analyzing, evaluating, and mitigating credit risk and leading others on credit requests
- Cultivate diverse teams and inclusive workplaces
- Drive change and innovation, deliver results, and develop employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- University/college degree typically required; bachelor's degree listed under Education
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Typically 8+ years of industry-relevant experience
- At least 5 years of prior management experience typically required
- Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility required
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 (or 9,10) required
- FINRA Series 66 (or 63,65) required
- Knowledge of conflict management, decision making and critical thinking, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, sales management, and selling
- No required or preferred language assessments
- PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
