About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a multi-year enterprise tokenization transformation initiative
  • Act as a trusted advisor to application teams on the security, compliance, and business value of tokenization
  • Guide application teams through requirements, planning, onboarding, implementation readiness, and governance
  • Identify, prioritize, and advocate for tokenization opportunities based on sensitive data exposure, regulatory requirements, and risk reduction
  • Define and execute adoption strategies, success metrics, and long-term roadmaps for enterprise tokenization capabilities
  • Provide governance and oversight for tokenization implementations, including readiness assessment, onboarding prioritization, and implementation risk mitigation
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, executive communications, and enterprise awareness activities
  • Improve onboarding efficiency, implementation consistency, and program effectiveness
  • Define, track, and analyze KPIs, KRIs, tokenization coverage, and sensitive data reduction metrics
  • Contribute to enterprise tokenization roadmaps aligned with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and security objectives
  • Perform technical evaluation and analysis to improve the organization’s security posture
  • Review information and logs, analyze requirements, create documentation, and investigate data security issues
  • Perform data loss prevention, data manipulation, risk mitigation, control review, and security assessments
  • Advise clients, security administrators, and network operations on complex security procedures and products
  • Investigate security issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Share knowledge with staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University/college degree, typically a bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Track record leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity, data protection, or technology transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of application security, data protection technologies, tokenization, encryption, or related security domains
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing application, engineering, security, and business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, risk management, and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred: enterprise security programs or security transformation experience
  • Preferred: knowledge of cryptographic technologies, tokenization platforms, PCI DSS, data privacy regulations, and secure data handling
  • Preferred: familiarity with application onboarding, system integration, and enterprise architecture processes
  • Preferred: experience in large-scale technology or financial services environments
  • Preferred: experience supporting product adoption, technology enablement, customer success, program management, or service delivery within cybersecurity organizations
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • No required certifications or licenses
  • No required or preferred language assessments
  • Must work from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace if remote work is approved
  • PNC will not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT
