About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize process automation and operational improvement opportunities with business stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into automated solutions with technology teams using RPA tools and related technologies
  • Manage automation initiatives from opportunity intake and business case development through implementation and post-production support
  • Monitor bot performance, utilization, and operational health
  • Analyze automation results, identify trends, and recommend enhancements for efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Facilitate alignment between business and technology teams on objectives, timelines, and deliverables
  • Maintain process documentation, automation inventories, and performance metrics
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution of automation-related issues
  • Support governance, risk management, and compliance activities for automated processes
  • Drive continuous improvement through workflow evaluation and process optimization
  • Oversee and enhance enterprise-wide or business-unit AML and Sanctions programs and related policies
  • Lead or oversee activities supporting compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, AML requirements, USA PATRIOT Act, and Sanctions Program
  • Update compliance policies, procedures, and manuals to reflect laws, rules, regulatory requirements, and management intent
  • Oversee regulatory examinations and inquiries, including interviews and information requests
  • Define, communicate, and socialize AML and Sanctions program objectives
  • Review compliance reports and customer risk profiles; identify issues, escalate them, and recommend corrective action plans
  • Analyze AML and Sanctions risks, internal controls, regulatory developments, and proposed rule changes
  • Support implementation of new or enhanced processes for regulatory compliance
  • Identify AML and Sanctions risks for business initiatives and recommend resolutions
  • Advise on and participate in AML and Sanctions training programs
  • Collaborate with business, legal, audit, and other risk disciplines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA), process improvement, business analysis, or operational excellence initiatives
  • Knowledge of RPA platforms such as Automation Anywhere and other related tools
  • Strong understanding of business process mapping, workflow analysis, and process optimization methodologies
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders and technology teams
  • Ability to analyze data, measure performance, and communicate insights to leadership
  • Strong project or program management skills, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and stakeholder management
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other reporting and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and automation architecture concepts
  • Experience working in Agile project environments
  • Understanding of process governance, controls, and risk management
  • Typically requires a university/college degree; Education: Bachelors
  • Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered
  • No required certifications or licenses
