About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities
  • Manage the customer experience and identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customers’ share of wallet
  • Represent PNC as an ambassador and position PNC solutions to drive revenue and customer loyalty
  • Lead proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation during client interactions to identify appropriate solutions
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships
  • Drive customer loyalty and share of wallet through differentiated customer experiences
  • Engage customers in the lobby and position financial products to meet their needs
  • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems
  • Manage risk by adhering to policies and procedures and exercising sound judgment
  • Identify and avoid losses through heightened scrutiny
  • Participate in daily branch operations and ensure efficient, accurate completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates degree or equivalent degree, plus related experience or product knowledge
  • Typically requires 4+ years of related business or functional experience
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
  • Appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role
  • Knowledge of banking products and retail lending
  • Customer service and customer experience knowledge
  • Proactive sales and prospecting skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and understand customer needs
  • Ability to leverage technology and demonstrate digital awareness
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and matrix management
  • Ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state
  • Subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations
  • No required certification(s)
  • No required or preferred language assessments
  • Must not have disqualifying criminal history under applicable FDIA, SAFE Act, and/or FINRA requirements
